Middle Grounds
Middle Grounds was an up-and-coming coffee shop in need of a logo. I worked with the owner to make her vision come true and create a design that communicated inclusivity, a retro style and referenced the small town it is based: Middletown. I used images she gave me and created a mood board with different font pairings and color schemes. The Middle Grounds type in the first 3 logos is one I drew by hand. After 2 iterations, she selected the first logo. The 2nd and 3rd are options I gave her during my second attempt. The last is from my initial attempt based off her drawing.
Twisted Talismans
Twisted Talismans makes hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind jewelry created with intention and care. Based in Frederick, Maryland, this client needed her logo digitized so it could be displayed on her Etsy, Instagram, and in-person at events. This design went on to become part of her business card and stickers (pictured below). I also created a gif version of her logo to be used in her Instagram posts and stories.
Nueva
Nueva is an indie punk band from the UK. For their debut, they wanted a logo created for the event and future use. After trying to craft one on their own, they reached out to me for help. They didn't have a clear idea of what they were looking for so I gave them plenty of options for them to pick and choose from. The first image is what they ended up choosing. The last is one of the original designs they had. Since the original logo had a grittier style, I wanted to maintain that but also add more edge to it for a punk look. The triangle paired with an angular font gives it a sharper look.
