I am an artist and designer located in the DMV area. I've always possessed an interest in all things creative and was encouraged in these pursuits by taking private art lessons from age 4-18. My background as a traditional artist gives me a valuable educational and aesthetic basis which I am able to use in all of my work in terms of style, layout and design principles. I attended University of San Francisco and graduated with a BA in Design and Film Studies. During my time at USF, I took inspiration from the diversity of the city, in it's people and it's landscape. I also was able to study abroad at American University in Paris where I studied film and lived amongst a whole new culture.
My creative work comes in many forms: Digitally using the Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Premiere Pro, and Animate, as well as other software like Procreate, Canva or in more physical forms like photography, watercolor, acrylics, oil, embroidery, and large scale murals.
I've had various jobs were I've been able to employ these skills while utilizing my knowledge of digital marketing, video editing, and printing. My past experiences gave me ample drive and motivation to continue in my path of creating with optimism, equity, and beauty through representing a variety of subjects in my artwork or films, and designing with under-represented communities in mind. My goal is to ensure that art and design reflects the world as it is by sharing accurate information visually and responsibly.
